I was informed by the store that sold me my Mac that I could install office 64 bit and remove office 32 bit, but when I logged on to Microsoft I cannot findan option to do this. Please advise how I can be sure, if I need to purchase a newer version.Many Thanks. Hi Jim,I am quite confused about my sudden current position:Mac insistently reminded me that I should upgrade to Catalina, and when I finally agreed (half knowing what I did) amidst a number of other distracting things and the upgrade was finalised in the end I was just missing my 2011 MS Office for Mac. - Office 2016 for Mac is a version of Office that’s available as a one-time purchase from a retail store or through a volume licensing agreement. It will be supported with security updates and bug fixes, as needed, until October 13, 2020. The minimum supported macOS for Office 2016 for Mac is 10.10 (Yosemite).
- I have a program that runs only on Excel for Mac 2016 version 15.37. I have 15.41 but it has a bug that stops macro from running. Is there a place I can download specific version of Excel 2016? Or can I request that to Microsoft? Please send help!
Dec 23, 2015 Mac OS X Speciality level out of ten: 0. Microsoft issued another update, so I have now installed the Office 2016 updates and they were successful so far. But still missing a bunch of features from Office 2011. Beats me how Apple let them get away with doing that.

- Windows NT 4.0 Embedded – Abbreviated NTe, it is an edition of Windows NT 4.0 that was aimed at computer-powered major appliances, vending machines, ATMs and other devices that cannot be considered computers per se. It is the same system as the standard Windows NT 4.0, but it comes packaged in a database of components and dependencies, from which a developer can choose individual components to build customized setup CDs and hard disk boot images. - Windows Odyssey – a version intended to be an update to the Microsoft Windows NT 5.x codebase. The teams working on Neptune and Odyssey combined to work on Windows XP.
- Windows Mobile 7 or Photon - originally a successor of Windows Mobile, it had been scrapped for Windows Phone 7 with Metro UI.[5][6]
- Windows Neptune (December 27, 1999) – the first planned version of Microsoft Windows NT to have a consumer edition variant, based on the Windows 2000 codebase. A version was sent out to testers but was never released.[7]
- Windows Nashville (May 2, 1996) – also known as Windows 96
- Cairo (February 29, 1996) – a 'true object-oriented OS', planned after Windows NT 4.0.
- Windows Longhorn – Planned to be after XP but was eventually scrapped and became Windows Vista.
